Saffy is a valued member of two local shoots we work based in the beautiful area of the Trough of Bowland, working on both Grouse and Pheasant days for driven and rough shooting. She also regularly attends regional Gundog Training groups as well as National Training events with various HPR breeds and this has given her the opportunity to work with some of the top gundog trainers on some of the best moors in England and Scotland.

Saffy Retrieve 11 Months
Saffy, Sh Ch Kenmillix Metope At Fassfields, joined us at the age of 11 months. Previously owned by Roy & Brenda Bebbington at Gonegos Kennel Saffy was trained to the Hawk and Gun.

It was indeed a great pleasure to have Saffy join our already developing life with Wires.

Saffy is a super, dual purpose bitch whose chosen priority is to work. She enjoys the demands of the field in all aspects. In addition, lightly shown, Saffy also has several successes in the Show Ring - See Show Results

Saffy profile 7 Paddock 2010

Saffy who is a medium-sized, robust yet feminine bitch, has an excellent wire coat and a superb temperament.

We have now been lucky enough to have reared Saffy's first litter in late 2010. Saffy was a superb mother in every way and the experience of personally rearing and seeing every part of her puppies develop from the moment they were born to the minute they flew the nest was indeed very special to us and we relished every minute. Definitely worth putting in the extremely hard work that goes into preparing puppies for the big world!

Typical to the breed Saffy is extremely loyal and attentive and always remains a true companion in everyway. Saffy has an overwhelming desire and eagerness to constantly achieve and please. In our eyes she is a "True Live Wire".

"Life without Wires........................ I don't think so!"
